This system removes the current issues of how to collect patient information prior to their appointment? When the patient does not have a working printer at home, meaning they must wait and complete the packet in the office or you need to mail it to them adding to your costs
and limiting the time required to review this information and establish a treatment plan for the patient.
PatientFDF removes this issue for both you and your patients giving both parties a simple to use and safe interface without the current limitations of normal PDF processes which is either to have the patient fill it out and print or send the results by email which is not secure
and in violation of the HIPAA Privacy Rule governing patient information and privacy.
PatientFDF put simply, allows you to post an online version of your current New Patient Packet that when a new patient completes the form and clicks on the process data button. It will create and save this information into the PatientFDF system. Once here, your office manager will
be notified by email that a new patient form is awaiting processing. The office manager then logs into the system and the new patient form will be waiting with two choices. The patient will also receive an email informing them the process was completed successfully.
- Download - Allows you to download new packet from the system.
- Delete - Allows you to remove or delete this packet from the system. (recommended)
At this point, you download and print these files from your local computer or save to be opened and printed at a later time. If you open the file because you have no reason to store these files, then you can just delete the file after you have printed the open file. In either
case, you should always delete the file once it has been processed for security and the safety of the patients information.
